β οΈ Research Gaps β No Trials
Major Problem: These compounds have preclinical evidence but NO active GBM clinical trials:
- Ivermectin β Strong cell + animal studies, no human GBM trial
- Fenbendazole β Animal studies, veterinary drug
- Berberine β Animal + cell studies, natural compound
- High-dose Curcumin β Preclinical only for GBM-specific
- Honokiol β Cell studies, crosses BBB
Why? Compounds without patent potential don't attract pharmaceutical funding. This is why patient advocacy and independent research matter.

π How to Join a Trial
- Search β Use links above to find trials for your tumor type
- Check eligibility β Each trial has specific criteria (tumor status, prior treatments, etc.)
- Contact β Find contact info on trial page, or ask your oncologist to refer you
- Understand risks β Ask about placebo arms, side effects, travel requirements
- Advocate β If denied, ask why and whether exceptions can be made
