Johns Hopkins researchers treating lab mice for pinworms noticed tumors stopped growing. This led to formal research on mebendazole for brain cancer.
Mebendazole comes in different crystal forms. Polymorph C has best brain penetration. Most OTC versions are Polymorph A (less effective).
